I started Junita's Jar as a way to temporarily escape the emotional chaos of an abusive relationship. Baking the recipes of my childhood connected me to the memories and wholesome goodness of my past. Food -- even a simple cookie has the power to connect us and to fuel positive change.
Junita's Jar was Inspired by the simple goodness of my favorite childhood recipes, baked with high quality, real ingredients - like real butter, pure vanilla, brown sugar and delicious chocolate chips. Simply put: Our cookies are what you'd make yourself if you had the time.
