KUUBOB

Started in 2021 by Maisha B. Hoye, this site is focused on three principles of Kwanzaa, Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility) , Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) KUU and Black-Owned Brands (BOBs). Hence the name, KUUBOB. Actually, we have two missions. The first is to amplify BoBs. We want KUUBOB to be a part of your everyday shopping life to see if we can go Black Owned every day, all year. Next, if we can do our part to help BoBs grow, then we are fulfilling the vision of Kwanzaa all year. You are an important part of KUUBOB and we hope to honor you by sharing the wealth we are honoring our history and creating ways forward for all.
