Faces of Health is an integrative health-psychology private practice in California. At Faces of Health, I help people who are living with chronic illnesses to have less suffering and experience more joy and meaning in life by providing them with research-based tools and education to improve their mind and body health. This includes: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Biofeedback, Brainspotting, Breath-work training, and Gut-brain connection education. My clients include people living with fibromyalgia, lupus, HIV/AIDS, EDS, POTS, traumatic brain injury, ADHD and other neurodiversity, MS, and other chronic health conditions that are impacting their relationships, work, home or school life, as well as their sense of purpose and their peace of mind. I combine my professional expertise in clinical psychology with my life experience as a Black woman living with lupus in fibromyalgia to provide the best care to clients in my practice. I understand the confusion, depression, worry, and questions that can come about after a life-altering chronic condition and work with compassion as clients journey towards navigating a new normal.By the time clients come to me, they have had enough. They have struggled too long with stress, pain, low motivation, and dysfunctional relationships. I help them to realize that life does not have to continue this way! I partner with clients to develop a plan to move forward in life, to make sense of the mess, and to help restore wellness in their mind, body, and spirit.This year, I began expanding my reach by developing a globally-accessible mobile App and 5-session online Master Class which provide neuroscience-based strategies for wellness and chronic disease management. These tools help people with chronic illnesses to rewire their brains to experience less stress and pain, and more calm, joy, and meaning in life!
